Hands Off Venezuela at the Latin America Solidarity Conference (LASC IV) in Chicago When: April 13-15, 2007
Where: University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) College of Medicine
(1853 W. Polk St. - Corner of Polk and Wolcott) The conference begins at 6 pm on Friday, April 13, on the Anniversary of the Victory of the Venezuelan People over the April 2002 coup. Workshops begin at 3:15 on Saturday the 14th. Hands Off Venezuela will be present the duration of the conference – please visit us at our literature table. HOV organizers John Peterson and Cort Greene will present a workshop on U.S. intervention and the media around the historic December 3rd Presidential elections. This workshop, which will also feature Daniel del Solar, will be presented on Sunday, April 15, 1:00 – 2:30pm in Room 3. For more information on this conference, please visit
